Never judge someone else’s feelings by their facial expressions. What you see as an angry outburst might actually be caused by shame, humiliation or even grief. Remain curious, and ask the other person to describe what they’re feeling. Remember, you’re not a mind-reader, and you’re not a feelings-reader either.
