we cannot corral it, sure, but surely there are things we can do to help direct the way a day unfolds – or not do – and was thinking of the way some actions are akin to the way a bridle allows the rider to direct the horse

Wise words. I once heard someone say, “Remember today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday.” I took that mean letting go of unproductive anxieties and focusing on what you can control in here and now.❤ —Thanks for taking the time to read and comment

oh Yes – I see that! and I see that now too – “letting go of unproductive anxieties and focusing on what you can control in here and now” because as you likely know more than I do – people can lose momentum by getting distracted, by shutting down (learned helplessness can be subtle), or they can get funky and I really liked that saying, “Remember today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday…”
thanks for always giving us a lot to think about

Your words remind me of a quote “The flow of life is great. It directs you at all times. It flows through you and with you. Make peace with change always being a constant in your life.” ❤ —Thanks for taking the time to read and comment.
