It’s Not Fair

Girls I checked my Bible concordance, and fair ain’t there! But liberty and freedom are. Unfortunately, it’s not up to us who goes free. We get to watch the stories unfold all around us, but we don’t get to determine destinies!

Journaling

To use journaling as a tool for healing the throat chakra, you can start by setting aside time each day or week to write freely about whatever comes to mind. It can be helpful to write in a quiet, private space and to allow oneself to write without worrying about grammar or spelling. Prompts or questions to guide the writing process, such as “What is preventing me from expressing myself fully?”, “What are my true feelings about a particular situation or relationship?”, “what does my voice want to say?”, or “what am I afraid to speak up about?” can be helpful in getting started. It can also be beneficial to incorporate affirmations or positive statements into journaling, such as “I trust my voice and express myself freely and confidently.” Finally, reviewing one’s journal entries can provide insight and understanding into any recurring patterns or themes that may be contributing to blockages in the throat chakra, and can help to identify areas for further growth and healing.

Connection

A family cookout sounds like the perfect way to find your zen. Sometimes only your loved ones can give you that extra push to keep going. Take your mind off your finances and spend more moments in silence, just admiring the fullness of your tribe and your life. Memories like this last a lifetime.

Alive and Energized

What activities or experiences make me feel most alive and energized? What aspects of my life bring me the most joy and fulfillment? What areas of my life feel unsatisfying or unfulfilled at the moment? If I had all the resources and time in the world, what would I prioritize doing or pursuing? What activities or situations drain my energy or make me feel stressed and unhappy? What are some recurring themes or patterns in my life that evoke strong emotions or reactions? What values do I hold most dear, and how are they currently reflected in my life? What do I need in order to feel safe, secure, and supported in my personal relationships? How do I recharge and take care of my physical, emotional, and mental well-being? If I could change one thing about my current circumstances or lifestyle, what would it be and why? What are my biggest aspirations, dreams, or goals, and what needs are connected to them? How do I want to contribute to the world, and what needs does that desire align with?
