Standing Up

What’s stopping you for standing up …I don’t know which fight is most important right now. Forget about what the news says or what Twitter is up in arms about, and consider which fight is most important to you. That might be Black Lives Matter or immigration reform – or traffic patterns in your neighborhood or arts funding in your school district, or whatever engages you.

  1. I’m standing up for people who have been conditioned by their culture not to express their emotions, suffering from depression and the ripple effect that has on those in their families and society around them when they don’t know how to ask for help.

Some friends are raising funds by doing 25 press-ups a day to raise funds to be able to buy this book and distribute it to farmers in New Zealand, I’m taking action by reading the book and reviewing it. The Resilient Farmer by Doug Avery. Thanks for asking.

      • Oh that’s so great, thank you. As the first man finished his self made video in the 25th day of sharing and tagging people, I realised how supported that must have must every other of those tough now 50 year old men feel, because they were talking to each other for 25 days straight and doing their task, that in itself probably shifted something as they motivated each other to persevere.
