quality of life

“Stop making your quality of life worse because you’re worried about what other people will think about trivial things. People will eat a sandwich at home instead of enjoying a delicious meal at the restaurant they are craving because they feel awkward being seen alone at a restaurant. They will be sleep-deprived, endure painfully boring situations, deal with unwanted hangovers, get sick, miss out on something that would have been really fun, etc., all in the name of trying to avoid feeling a little self-conscious. Life is too short to do that to yourself.”

Seller Tip

Storage is something every buyer is looking for. They will snoop and inspect so it’s important to keep your closets and cabinets clean and tidy. Declutter these spaces by removing half of the items and neatly organized the reimaging belongings.

Free Drink ?

How do I respond to someone down the bar buying a drink for me, but I’m not interested?

Bars shouldn’t let people buy drinks for strangers and shouldn’t facilitate this very outdated—and quite frankly predatory—practice. This might be extreme, but if out of nowhere a bartender were to bring me a drink paid for by someone else, I would refuse it, and then leave. However, if you’re feeling like buying a drink for someone and don’t want to feel like a creep, you should do the same thing that everyone should do in every situation where they don’t want to be a creep: Get consent. If it seems like someone else would be interested in you buying them a drink, ask them! And be gracious if they say no in response. – Bon Appetit

Types of Loneliness

Intimate: which is when we don’t have close connections with partner or best friend

Relational: which means we feel lonely due to lack of friendships

Collective: when we lack community.

Research finds if any layer of that is missing from our lives , we can still feel lonely. So, we need friendship to feel whole, to feel good and connected and to be at homeostasis.
