Every day passes whether you participate or not- Deng Ming Dao
Daily Extra : What does it mean to, really, to participate? Think of it as truly inhabiting each day. Meditation is one way, proven through centuries of use, so here’s a brand new year to start a practice if you haven’t already. But participation also can mean to pay attention, to be responsive, to listen actively when people speak and answer from the heart, not from a place of anticipation. The very nature of a boxed calendar is to joy it snippets of pleasure and then tear off days, as if the year were a project to get though. Instead make this year to savor, each and every moment, one after the other after the other. Participate in your life. – 365 days

Positively Purging-I welcome your feedbacks in the comments and your likes and passing the real life wisdom on to others as I embark on this new venture of “positively purging“, as I know each of these pieces represents something…
I can relate to the comment about the calendar. At work, I am so used to scheduling, tasking and striking through activities on my to-do list, that it spills over to my personal life. The key difference, though, is that at work, you are marking off time so you can move on to the next project. In life, you are marking off time until there is no time left; ominous thought.
