What Do You Do?

We are powerless in the face of many of life questions, but not all of them. The next time someone ask you what you do, tell them who you are. Share something about yourself that is true that matters. It will create the opportunity for a connection far more rewarding than any resume ever could.

  1. When we moved to Newark, Nottinghamshire, some of the wives I met were amazed when I asked them what they did, and they replied “I am just a housewife and mother” when I answered that this was the most important job.
