Kitchen Hacks: Part 2

kitchen hacks

  • Organize your utensils as you load your dishwasher. It makes you  feel accomplished when I’m unloading.
  • Putting a wooden spoon on a pot of water to prevent it from  boiling over.
  • The best skill in any anywhere else is a sense of humor.
  • Mise en place is the French term for having all your ingredients prepped , cut and measure before you start cooking. Using this skill in the kitchen makes cooking, quick and easy, and you feel like you’re starting in your own cooking show.
  • Make a simple roast chicken. Every Sunday night. It gives us a nice meal that night and enough leftovers for one or two more dinners that week.
