feel what you’re feeling the holidays are about connections with ourselves and each other. Emotional honesty – feeling what we are feeling and not covering it with what we think we should be feeling – often goes a long way in creating that intimacy we long for. And the best part is by allowing ourselves to feel whatever it is we are feeling we soon discover that the joy we are looking for is just around the corner.
A tough one, that.

Such truth and life-giving freedom to feel and be emotionally honest –
Although in a few cases people do not Wrestle with the honesty part – they might need to reel it in a bit and so some though stopping and stabilizing –
And then sometimes with all that emotional honesty they might not be at a stable point and a little detachment could
Have served them better – you know – bringing thoughts captive and not allowing every feeling to stay – cos many times they take folks down and some emotions need to be dismissed – with care of course
But your post really does address that tendency for some
Folks to ignore what they are experiencing – or worse – to get feeling-less it even apathy or who knows – and so This post might be the encouragement needed for some folks –
Thanks for sharing

Have served them better albeit it is my hopes this would be the first step in seeking professional help…
