  2. As a marathon runner I was never a sprinter. I was training on a 400 meter running track sometime in the 1980s. Two young women floated past me. One shouted “you are supposed to jog in the outside line”. “I’m going as fast as I can”, I replied

    well -= and on some days it is okay to NOT even be “not trying my hardest.” – I think too often we become worn down in this effort fight- when some folks (some parched folks) need reprieve – but I guess it depends
