Hang Art on Your Walls

Art may sound out of place in a pantry, but if you have wall space to spare, consider hanging a painting or two. Even small works of art can transform your pantry, making it feel more like a room worth showing off—and less like a place you pop into to grab a midday snack.

Healing

Are you looking for a way to take your relaxing bubble bath to the next level? Here are some ideas that might make your bath time extra special: Add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to the running water to create a calming atmosphere. Bring a good book or listen to some soothing music to make the experience more enjoyable. Try using bath bombs or bath salts to provide a therapeutic experience. Light some candles or use a diffuser to bring in some aromatherapy. Incorporate some self-care rituals such as a facial mask, foot scrub, or hair mask. Place a few crystals such as rose quartz, clear quartz, amethyst, and black tourmaline. Add in coconut milk or goat milk into your water for soft skin. Add roses, lemon and orange slices for aesthetics. We hope these ideas help you to make your bubble bath an even more relaxing and enjoyable experience. – Happy Healing!

Synchronized Swimming

“I want to spend the next 50 years with you,” Barry said on our third date. We had met in a water bed store: He was selling and I was buying. Over the beds, he said that he loved to swim but had no one to swim with. That night, we went skinny dipping in a Canadian quarry. We did ’70s drugs, slept together and learned we were on the waiting list of the same law school. We never said goodbye. Instead, we swam together through amazing times. And, at the end of our 50th year, last March, he died. — Nancy Adel
