Practice gratitude is not about talking yourself into liking what you really don’t like. It is about conscious appreciating the good things in life. It’s about that first moment in the morning when you wake up you have a warm cozy, comfortable and safe place to sleep in and realize your friends and family are with you and how good it is to have them, even if they can be annoying, challenging or stressful. If we miss those little opportunities to say a quiet thank you, the gifts in life and on the holiday, season pass by unnoticed.
Wonderful practice to give thanks every morning and send love out to the universe. It makes for a better balanced day too.
