Think of all the times in your life when you’ve been happy because things have gone well – a fun night out, a successful work meeting, maybe a compliment from a friend. It doesn’t matter how big or small , if its a positive in your life, it counts. Collect this proof in whatever way you prefer – take photo’s or videos, write down your thoughts in a gratitude journal, print emails or messages – and keep them in a place that you can access easily. When you’re feeling anxious or negative refer to this body of positive evidence to boost your optimism bias.
