I have discovered  that the smallest things are the grist of life-not the big things. It’s the small ones that life and give us the opportunity to grow- like the little irritation, which turned into rage I felt with the noise of the blender when I was watching TV.     I agree those small ones catch our awareness by surprise and reversion to less savory reactions ensue. On the occasion of bigger events, something supernatural overtakes and a calmer more reasoned response occurs
