Transition Period

New deals are on the horizon, and they will give you the platform to branch out with your current projects. Take deep breaths whenever you feel overwhelmed; things are often worse in your head than in reality. Your family will have your back during this transition period. Don’t be ashamed to ask for help from the members of your team.

Vulnerability is…

Acknowledging the unfinished parts, the rough edges, the bittersweet, the things that will never be resolved, the places where our hopes didn’t match our reality. Vulnerability is the truth, which is to say it’s beautiful and it’s sometimes hard and it’s worth it. –R. Eric Thomas

The Case for Paper

My No. 1 resolution is to walk to my public library (only one block away!) weekly and check out physical books rather than purchasing downloads for my e-reader. This facilitates my other two resolutions: moving more (walking to and from the library is a start) and ending my habit of doomscrolling/watching/reading the news constantly. After all, reading actual books (I love the smell of dust and paper) and exercising are two great ways to combat the creeping depression facilitated by the doom dive into what the next four years might bring. –April PhillipsNorfolk

Advice from a Horoscope

This month will be a carefree time for you. Plan to move beyond frozen dinners and Netflix binges. Consider picking up a new hobby; an idle mind is a playground for mischief. A good exercise is to reconnect with your inner child. Remember what gave you the most joy, with no monetary benefit attached? Try starting there.
